Question: Tips on writing songs?

Tips on writing songs? I have a lot of stuff in my head; failed relationships, breaking down friendships, seeing other friends being messed around by people… I need some way to write it all down. I want to write slow, acoustic songs. But I just don’t know how to start. Any tips?

Yeah. Here's a tip. Don't write if you don't want to. Listeners can always tell when you've sat down and "tried " to write a song. Just start writing down your thoughts, and eventually you'll get used to writing. Songs will start flowing from there.
