Question: Jobs for writing song lyrics?

Are there any jobs for Writing Song Lyrics...? if there is... how much do they pay? and where are these sites to apply for them ? I think I'm really talented in writing music. Most songwriters make demos and peddle them to artists or record companies, or just do their own work into songs and release them themselves. While your lyrics are enjoyable, the record companies want something commercial and different when they go shopping. You'd probably have to write about what they want on demand. Love song writers are everywhere. Including me....
