Question: How to write song lyrics?

Okay i tried and its ok i guess but i needs like ideas like lyrics i know i should make my own and i have been for the past 3 years and and good i guess but i kinda run out of ideas i have wrote about 50 songs some good some kinda i stoped so i know how to write them but just some adivce

I had the same problem, but.. once i wrote more and more it just came naturally,if you wrote a lot but you took a break, just keep writing. take it from personal experiences which you probably know. lyrics are important, but without a catchy melody it wont matter these days, you want something people will remember. be creative and have fun(:

Think a lot about what your song means and use some well poetry. Write from your heart, choose the mood of the song (sad, happy, angry, peaceful, etc) and after you add up all parts of the song and take your time, you will come up with a wonderful song. After you write the song find the basic chords (if you play an instrument but this is just about the lyrics so... if you need help on anything else email me at shaykay1995@rocketmail.com ;) ) I wish you all the luck in the world and hope that when you get famous you'll tell everyone "Shayla helped me with the basics!
