The best way to emulate him is to study him. Go to your favorite guitar tabs site and learn how to play a few of his songs. You've probably heard that kind of ukelelee strum pattern he uses in just about every song, learn it and throw it in to your songs. Voila, Jack Johnson. Personally, I'm not a huge fan, but he did collaborate with G-Love and Special Sauce for one of my favorite songs ever "Rodeo Clowns ". Curiously, the same strum pattern he would use on his rise to fame for the next 8 years!
