Express yourself. grab a different sheet of paper and write down anything that pops up into your head.

Write down what you want to say, use a thesaurus to find rhyming words

Dont try to form the song right in the start. Just right down everything that comes to mind. An example would be a phrase like "smile like nothing is ok. " Just keep doing this for a bit and then just start piecing it together.

Depends on your kind of music... Personally I love really poetic stuff and I try to find alternate meanings for regular sayings. Also, I find it helps if I don't listen to any other music right before I write songs because then I'm not influenced at all by their lyrics and it just comes straight from my head. Thinking of a story/ what you want to write about is also a really good way to start.

Find a beat that you really seem to like use your emotion to express what you want to say suppose, if you and your best friend were in a fight you'd write something like: 'thought we were close, did know what to say " or something sorry that was REALLY bad it just popped into my head so but try that

Just write poetry about something you really care about and edit the poem and syllables until your left with a song.
