For me, I write songs when I feel a certain feeling, and then describe it in words. You'll most likely get inspired by what you feel and you'll get an idea. Trust me, that's how I write my poetry pieces ^_^. Also try listening to some of your favourite songs, what do you like the most about them? What's so deep about the songs? Certain phrases and catchy choruses also help! Good luck~ |

Well, You can get really inspired by a song. it depends if like what kind of song do u wanna write.. country, rock,r &b, rap or so ever. and if its like about break up make up and stuff. think about ur present experience. or ur past experience with the one u loved. i bet you'll come up with wonderful words. it will probably take u 2 to 3 days or even a week to write a song. but yeah. |

Base your song on an old feeling, or how you feel at the moment. i think it is easiest to start with a chorus then a hook, and then the other sections. |

See what you need is a meaning full concept like: you only have 100 years to live, or : there is no day but today. those concepts those ideas have formed whole songs & even a whole 2 hours & 15 minute musical. once you get a concept that means something, that makes you & other realize something and one that has truth, a song often can easily grow from that, but asking others isn't going to help or will the song be worth anything if its not your own inspiration & emotions. |

Just write down whatever yer feelin' at the time, hon- that's what I normally do when I write songs. Make a note of things that make ya happy, things that make ya miserable, things that scare ya, things that make ya mad and whatnot, and put these emotions into words. Ya can also draw on any life experiences, (good OR bad), which've had a considerable impact upon yer life, (for whatever reason!) Just for example, write a song about yer first love or yer current other half, and how much ya love 'em. It should be easier for you, 'cos, generally-speakin', girls are better at lyric and poetry-writin' than blokes! Hope that's helped! Peace and love! Be lucky! :) |
