It depends on what you're looking for. There are some free sources where you can pick up some decent free information (places like youtube and such...). However, it's usually amateurs giving this info out and they aren't properly qualified individuals or have much experience behind them. There is also the fact that some of these musical skills need some natural talent. (like singing and songwriting) However, almost ANYONE can learn guitar with the right amount of practice. There is one website that has reviews of many different popular music lessons that you can take online. It's onlinelessonreviews.com. They don't have songwriting lessons reviewed on the site, but lots of guitar lesson courses, and voice lessons too. I actually got the top singing course reviewed on that site which is Singing Success by Brett Manning. It's a very good course... though a touch expensive. Review of it is here: onlinelessonreviews.com/ singing-lessons/ singing-success-review.html Maybe take a look at some singing books that you can find at Barnes & Nobles too. Not everyone learns very well from books, but they will definitely have a few things in there that will help you out some. |
