Hi me and my group want to write a song we want it to be R& B, we want it to be fun, we want it to be songs you can play and dance to at parties but we are having trouble writing the song. I'm having troubles with song writing?
I would like some advice I write lyrics all the time but I have a hard time putting it into music. I can't find the right vocal melody for it Every time I try to sing out a melody for my lyrics, it doesn't sound right, it sounds extremely cheesy and weird sounding. If anybody has some advice for me that would be amazing. I play guitar and I try to sing with my guitar to make it sound better but it still sounds bad, idk what I'm doing wrong S

I'm a young Musician and I'm beginning to have problems writing songs. I've already to written to many love songs to count and I've been wanting to write something more. Normally I write break up songs and love songs but I want to write something more.
